Renowned pervert Bobby Chemmannur recently got arrested due to his perverted comments and actions towards actress Honey Rose.

During these events, incels, as well as religious misogynists, came up with criticisms of Honey Rose’s dressing.
They made claims like:
“If Honey Rose has the right to wear whatever she wishes, others have the right to slander and verbally abuse her. Otherwise, Honey Rose should be equally criticized for her dressing.”
Even ignorant right-wing atheists joined in with criticisms of Honey Rose.

1. Bobby Chemmannur does not have the right to verbally abuse anyone. It causes immense mental suffering to Honey Rose. This is not an isolated case. Stupid followers of these kinds of popular, rich perverts follow these trends and continue with such verbal abuses, causing suffering to others.
2. Most of us, including Honey Rose, enjoy wearing good-looking outfits. It gives confidence, appreciation, and compliments from others. All of this increases our pleasure. So, Honey Rose should dress as she pleases. This freedom also enhances the position of systematically oppressed genders, thus resulting in greater well-being.

Now, the question one should ask is whether people dressing as they please causes any significant suffering that outweighs the pleasure gained.

Incels claim that women wearing tight or revealing dresses result in a higher chance of getting raped or sexually assaulted.

Let’s assume this is true. We know that among all the factors causing rape, this will be the least important factor to consider. We can understand this by analyzing the dressing of rape victims.

The main point is that rape should be addressed by increasing the efficiency of the law and order system and providing proper moral education for men—not by further reducing the pleasure of women by interfering with their freedom of dressing or movement.

But by doing so, they have reduced all their pleasures.
